Every effort has been made to maximize the quality of this wine: the fruit selected was the very best in the vineyard and the winemaking was performed meticulously. The resulting wine is luxuriously deep red in colour with hints of garnet at the rim. The nose is rich - exciting licorice, aniseed and spicy vanilla oak. The palate is full of juicy berry fruits; layered, full-bodied and weighty with elegant tannins. The incredible persistence of flavour is a testament to a remarkable vintage. This wine will fully reward careful cellaring.
