Flat Chat

We staged a number of events, but one that stands out was the Two Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest dinner where I joined with fellow hunter and Head Chef at Sarti, Riccardo Momesso, for a game food and wine extravaganza!  The night was a hit and is sure to be repeated in years to come.

Another event was with the Young Bunch – a collection of like minded wine buddies from north east Victoria.  We hosted 200 people to a ‘Wine Party’ at the Emerald Peacock (Lonsdale Street, Melbourne).  A stunning venue, a stunning crowd and of course stunning wines!  The other wineries involved were All Saints, Dal Zotto, Dominque Portet, Eminence wines and Scion – if you’re up our way visiting, be sure to motor past one of these great wineries.

Finally, we have also been busy in Brisbane and, despite the difficult times up there, that amazing and resilient community is drinking more and more of our wine.  Our next move is to expand the team into Sydney, so if you are ever up that way, be sure to ask for Fowles Wine!”
