A lady from the Continent

 “As we welcome in a new summer, Europe says goodbye to an old one. Yet for me European summer remains very much alive; may be this is because varieties from France, Italy and Spain feature in our soon to be released limited edition Merlot, Lagrein and Tempranillo (MLT) 2010 blend Ladies who Shoot their Lunch.

Australian summers are priceless but there is something so glamorous about a European one - boat cruising celebrities in Cannes, air kissing fastionistas in Italy and bronzed bodies in Barcelona’s city beach – that I’ve decided to apply these wild stereotypes to describe our ‘Lady from the continent’.

Merlot brings her voluptuous, full body off the boat from Cannes, Lagrein brings her pretty perfume and cool acidity from the piazzas of Italy and Tempranillo brings her Latin warmth and brooding complexity from Barcelona to create a deeply coloured, wonderfully perfumed and deliciously savoury wine.

Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2010 MLT blend with its fantastic perfume, fresh acid, grippy tannins and savoury notes will stand up to and complement the intensity and texture of game meat making it a fabulous food wine.
